About Us
We are a brother and sister team who were raised by 2 teachers in a busy household. People often ask us, “What was it like growing up in a house with both parents as teachers?”
To be honest, although there was great value placed on education, there was always something creative humming in the background, from mum fine-tuning her lesson plans for school to dad making wooden gifts and trophies in his spare time. As kids, we watched their creations come to be.
This environment allowed us to:

break things
fix things
the iterative process!
Upon reflection, this is what sparked our curiosity and led us to our respective mechanical-design engineering and chemical engineering-pharmaceutical science fields.
So what happens when Engineers, Designers and Teachers come together?
Well, we simply harnessed our collective strengths to create teaching and learning products that value the basic skills while meeting the needs of a rapidly changing society.
Research in Education indicates that highly successful outcomes are achieved when children learn by moving fluidly between the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics – not forgetting Art, of course!
Reflecting on our experiences in industry, we understood firsthand the importance of STEM principles in the workplace, and knew that tapping into dad and mum’s vast experience as leaders in Education would enable us to weave an integrated flow of teaching and learning into our products.
Granted that digital learning is vital for the future and certainly has a place alongside what we create, children remain naturally inquisitive about the real, tangible world around them. Hence our family has come together to collaborate, rethink, plan and deliver STEM products that better prepare our 21st century problem-solvers and entrepreneurs from a young age.
